Well,
may I begin by saying "Fuck me dead!" You
would not believe what my previous host tried doing
to me. I swear, that hosting company must be run by
a bunch of fucking preschoolers. What angers me the
most is, that they contrived to blackmail my arse! Me?!
After
reading this, you will truly realize how I got screwed
over - not once, but twice - by these money hungry monkey
fuckers!
It
all started the first time they pulled my site down
for inappropriate content. They claimed that my website
was in violation of their "Terms of Services".
Now, these RULES of theirs were nowhere to be found
on their main site, so this is why I had to e-mail them
prior to signing up for their hosting services. In the
e-mail, I specified exactly what type of thematic "adult"
content Forbidden Compounds Dot Com would have on its
main page - this included the current "adult"
picture content as well. Guess what their response was
to this??
"This
would be allowed yes"
So
I joined. Anyhow, the first time they terminated my
account, I e-mailed them back with corresponding evidence
disclosing approval made by their administration (mind
you, it was the same guy all along) to use, have and
exhibit "adult" content on my site. They then
responded with:
"In
lite of your email, I will talk with our Admin's on
this Account is now reactivated, As of right now, the
account is NOT terminated"
Yeah,
that's right you fucking lackeys! Hey, but that's not
all. A few hours later I received another e-mail equivocally
ordering:
"humm,
just no men and women screwing, sticking their hands
up u know where..stuff like that...from the looks of
it your content is fine from what you have online etc..."
I assumed THAT in itself must have been some way for
them to screw me later on down the track. "Your
content is fine from what you have online"
??? Haha!! Guess
what I had on my front page that day? A picture of guy
screwing some dead chick. Oh yes, all of a sudden it's
really quite acceptable - isn't it you sad ignorant
fuck?!
What
could I say at that point?? I had to respond with:
"It
seems that you don't really approve of my site being
on your servers anymore and probably have your concerns
about me staying with you. Would you like me to find
another host? I feel like I've got restrictions working
on my site now and can't update it like I used to, as
I was under the impression that I had an all clear to
post whatever I wished so long as it wasn't illegal.
Would
you like me to leave www-*******.net? I don't want to
be a burden on
you."
Here
comes their blackmail:
"How
about this
Lets work out a compromise. You pay your normal fees
and we will not monitor your website content.
The only clause you would need to do is signup for our
Affiliate Program and host 1 of our numerous banners
on your index page at the top, no other restrictions
This
will help us with more page views and help you in allowing
you total free content as it was before the TOS was
enacted."
Like
WTF?? So I did. Out of courtesy, I not only placed ONE
affiliate banner up on my index page, but rather, I
placed THREE on every page I had. This included all
my archives, forum and Top 100 Listing.
Unfortunately,
this must not have been enough for them. Approximately
several weeks later, I received YET ANOTHER termination
notice. Mother fuckers!!! Deep down, I was somewhat
expecting it. But it still pissed me the fuck off! 
"after
further review of your website, we can not host your
website, its clearly illistrates pornography which includes
people urnitanting on each other"
Haha!
Like no shit you perceptive genius! They knew this all
along - all my instincts intimated that THAT can't be
the true reason behind this new termination notice -
there has to be something else.
"We
will not terminate the account asap, but we will give
you 4 days to remove your website and terminate the
account."
They
pulled the plug in just under two days!
"After
reviewing the site, it has come down to a clear violation
of our TOS, which clearly states no adult content, in
your case, I had to draw the line because of the adult
images on your site
I'm
sorry but we can no longer host your website due to
the graphic nature of your site."
I
believe the hypocrisy speaks for itself here and because
it was THEM who were at fault, I requested a refund
on the month I had made an advanced payment on.
"refunds
are not given in this case"
Fuck
you!
"We
gave you a option to host our banner on your website,
which was acually not doing any good at all...go ahead
and take all it to court you will loose hands down,
you have a right to go anywhere you want, we have a
right to host who ever we want. The fact is you run
a adult website, I told you very clearly that we would
not monitor your website if you took down the hardcore
images, you didnt do that did you..."
Ah
ha!! When push comes to shove, the truth will finally
surface. My banners weren't generating the massive hits
they wanted! That was their concern - their plan was
backfiring. And simply, what's with the constant, irritating
grammatical and spelling errors? "Loose hands
down"?
"I
told you very clearly that we would not monitor your
website if you took down the hardcore images"
WHAT????
They said no such thing! - and all the evidence proves
that. Now I was convinced that these guys were making
their own "rules and truths" up as they went.
Lastly,
I e-mailed him back with:
"Wrong!!
You must be suffering a serious brain malfunction. You
said my
content will NOT get monitored at all if I place your
banners up. That in itself is blackmail."
Like
I always say "Karma's a bitch and they will get
theirs."
So
there it is folks. Evidence of how small websites are
figuratively fist fucked in the arse by web hosts who
aren't deserving enough to be in service. Thankfully,
I have now found a KICK ASS host that speaks intelligible
English and not gibberish.
I
would like to give props to all the people that e-mailed
me with their support. You know who you all are. All
I ask, is to click on my banners whenever you can in
order to help me with the hosting fees.
